Last week I spent the whole week at CPUT for our first blog session.It was a good session.Since I am only doing Ctd this year I will thank God for and opportunity to repeat it because this time around my interest for construction and detailing was evoked by the exercises we did.We were asked to build a 1:20 model of a steel house structure called House Venter. The house is a welded hallow steel section frame filled with 290x140x390 concrete blocks and covered with corrugated iron sheet for the roof structure.These are the pictures of the House.
